Jim Pennypacker

Jim has more than 30 years experience in writing, editing, research, and publishing. He helps authors, associations, marketers, and businesses large and small create content that engages audiences and provides value to meet their various needs. Jim is also Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the business book publisher Maven House Press. He is formerly the Director of the Center for Business Practices, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Project Management Institute, Publisher of Fox Pond Communications, and Assistant to the President and Book Editor of Transaction Publishers at Rutgers University. Jim holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Temple University and an M.B.A. from West Chester University. Full bio.

Deborah Weiss, Vice President

Deborah Weiss

Deborah is an award-winning desktop publisher, writer, and editor. A specialist in technology topics, she was responsible for producing the monthly magazine, Philadelphia Medicine, for the Philadelphia County Medical Society for more than ten years. She also wrote a regular column for the trade newspaper, Desktop Publisher, for five years. Deborah has held various positions at Fox Pond Communications, Rutgers University, and Jaques Cattell Press and holds a B.A. in Physics from Rutgers University.

Jeannette Cabanis-Brewin, Associate

Jeannette Cabanis-Brewin

Jeannette Cabanis-Brewin, a business and technology writer and editor, writes for a variety of print and online publications on management and organizational development topics, and has collaborated on several books in the project management field, including two that were winners of the Project Management Institute’s Literature Award.Jeannette holds a B.A. in professional writing from Western Carolina University and has done graduate work in Organizational Change, also at WCU, and Nonprofit Management (Duke University). She is the editor-in-chief of the research division of a management consulting firm, PM Solutions.
